Jonathan sets his beloved teddy bear "mr. Cuddles" aflame after soaking it in gasoline and swings it at the enemy.

The poor teddy bear is destroyed.

In serious mode Vampire Killer replaces the bear.

If he misses, he'll lose his balance and fall down face first.

The fall doesn't happen in serious mode.

The chain is sort of rusted though, so no wonder it breaks so fast.

But johnny boy, you need to do something about those gases.

The fart gives massive invincibility time. Doesn't happen in serious mode.

Jonathan stops goofing around and starts acting more seriously.

Can be used only when you're still up for perfect victory, even one hit disables the transformation for the rest of the round.

once activated it can be used at anytime without any limitations.

Jonathan summons all of his power to use the subweapon he currently carries to its full potential.

In joke mode he instead summons Charlotte to do the holy lightning dual crash.

Jonathan assumes a blocking pose. While in it it's impossible to move at all, but most of the attacks deal reduced damage and won't send him flying.

The move continuously drains his mp when active.

Starting the block at the exact moment an attack connects performs a perfect guard which reduces damage to nearly nothing.
