Only possible in Survival mode with "Simul" activated.

I know it's not the same, but you can do single battles like this using Quick VS.

You could use the command prompt if you can reach it or use the quick VS if that's what you mean. You can select to fight characters controlled by a. i., or bosses that way. Note: the a.i. for the characters you fight is terrible.

eh some a.i is challenging for me like, death, hugh, richter, and charrlotte, they can be a pain for someone like me, i can only barely beat normal.

Forgot to mention, some a.i. are better than others, the ones you mentioned are one the challenging ones (I even died to those sometimes). Also don't worry about it if you have difficulties, everyone has to have started somewhere.

I only played Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge, that game crushed me, on the other hand I never really had a lot of issues with CVF, at least not for long.

Also, it's ironic because Hayabusa was suggested for a while, there's even a fulll moveset written for him somewhere.

By the way, who said would work on spriting him again?

Edit: Found the moveset scattered in three parts (they're probably not even complete):

At first I thought Mr Esturk was doing it, but he said he can't sprite that well, so Hayabusa is abandoned for the time being.

The moveset written there covers most shit though, he'd just lack an item crash, and like I said there, just give the "True Inferno" from Razor's Edge, he could also have a slide since he had it on that game.
