I've never used a forum...So I guess I'll be YouTubing this shit, fuck all those spammers for destroying a simple textboard. Anyways this is just like that old suggestion thread. Suggestions, concerns, game related worries go here...Let's start shall we?

The Blackmore boss, are they 2 separate chars? Or is it's palette coded to stages. Now the Throne room had the palette without the red glow and the Whip's memory stage used the original palette. Is it possible for you to switch this? Throne room is dark and Whip's memory stage one would look better without the glow, in order to make it more nightmarish.

A proper forum can handle many more threads in a more organized fashion than a text board could. I imagine most people will use this for small grievances, or for when they can't be bothered to make a new thread, but big ideas/suggestions/whatever probably deserve their own topic. :]

As for the current idea, I imagine this is more so to do with issues of contrast than it is to do with atmosphere. So black on black (i.e. Balore's stage) is fucking impossible to see properly, which is why the shadow gets the red aura there. :S

As for the throne room and Whip's Memory stages, there's the matter of the big blue moon and gray/green pillars providing contrast against the shadow, whereas the Whip's Memory stage has a darkened strip just above the ground (?) that might possibly obscure the shadow's hands as they palm thrust into you (therefore, red aura to prevent blind cheap-shots). :/

That's all off memory though. I've been too busy with other stuff to play the game much recently. :x

This is more of a question than a suggestion..
Is maxim going to maintain the triple jump he had in HoD?
Or do i have to sprite out a Highjump frame for the lil' guy?

Well,the superjump Juste had is way higher in height compared to Maxim's Triple jump anyways.. :P I think lol

That answered my question on Shanoa too,since she basically used the magnes glyph in OOE instead of the regular superjump,like Albus or everyone for that matter.

At the Whip's memory stage, there is a chain GIF, in which the animation has it's flaw on screen capture as shown, he chain isn't liked together as it is displayed in the other frames...Not a big deal but would be nice...Also what's better than Ctrl + Print Screen again?

Pretty sure F12 outputs screenshots into the same folder as the .EXE. :/

Another question regarding Maxim..
Is he going to have the crouch+kick thing? Or will the kick be a separate button? Like yoko?

best would be separate, that way he can have 2 unique attacks.

in yoko's case it was also because of the healing ability of the staff, it made no sense for her heels to heal too, so i had to do a quick frankenspriting to make the crouching staff, then used the succubus yoko's kick animation for stand/air.

fixed. i removed that frame, it made no sense to have it there, it looked like it was unfinished.

Shanoa could always have a wing-flap effect to add to it or something(think Gabriel).
