Yeah, I kinda wanted to distance her from 2P Reimu, but I guess I went too far, lol. This good?

Anyway, for her assists I was thinking maybe Suwako-Cirno and Kanako-Marisa would fit better, if possible that is, seeing as she does have them as assists in 'soku.

I have a suggestion for Julius second form (not exactly a palette but something different)
Then I'll finish his sprite for my game (that is still on story part) you can take the whole sprite sheet as it's based on his regular sprite and moves.
That feeling you get, when you've just beaten Death Boss Rush in Bloodlines with no damage and no subs... Yes... That feeling...

If you're suggesting what I think you're suggesting, I don't think non-canon costumes would be so readily accepted here.

EDIT: Remember that PC-98 Reimu palette project I dropped? Well I recently picked it back up, and...I'm stuck here.

Considering that submitting three out of six might be considered hogging, credit goes to whoever helps me finish this up. If it should just be dropped altogether though, that'd be okay with me.

So after a long time I finally decided to get back to this, and whipped out a couple palettes for the two maids.

One reference should be obvious enough, the other slightly less so if you don't watch anime.

i added alternate palette images to each character's page on the main site, so it'll be easier to tell what's in and what isn't, as well as how many slots are left (usable slots are marked with blue letters under them).

it doesn't matter, it's either that or no palettes at all. it doesn't seem like anyone else really cares, lol.

Well then, as soon as a couple assignments are off my back I better get back to this. I'm planning on trying out Ange Ushiromiya for Reimu later at first on a whim, and then I checked her TVTropes character page and WHAT THE FUCK RINA SATO (on a related note, Sakuya apparently shares her voice with lil' miss GREAT EQUALIZER IS THE DEATH (AKA Dlanor.))

By the way, I think you made a mistake in pasting over my two finished Reimu palettes, as in you just pasted them over to the main palettes and duplicated them to the alternate palettes instead of pasting them over the duplicate alternate palettes.

i originally removed them because reimu had code for only 6 palettes. i expanded that to 12, but didn't re-add them, i'll do that next time.

the green one was a crappy placeholder palette though. i did a red, green and blue placeholder palettes a lot of the time, to be replaced with better, more elaborate palettes in the future.

the old ones are usually just token rgb variations, like richter's red/green coat.

So within these few days I've somehow made quite a lot of recolors, a couple of them are updates, and some of the more extreme recolors are more of an experiment.
UPDATED:
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Sol Badguy/Guilty Gear)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Reimu Hakurei/PC-98 Touhou games)
NEW:
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Ange Ushiromiya (P2)/Umineko no Naku Koro Ni - Ougon Musou Kyoku)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Vert/Hyperdimension Neptunia V)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Dlanor A. Knox/Umineko no Naku Koro Ni)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Youmu Konpaku/Koumajou Densetsu)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Kliff Undersn/Guilty Gear)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Charlotte Orlean)

(To be continued later because I'm out of attachment space.)

That Sol palette is pretty slick. I should probably post this one I have, since it'll finish Shanoa's palette set (although I'm certain Serio forgot he had it). :T

[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Serena Corsair, Guardian Heroes)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Reverse Werewolf, Symphony of the Night)

Also realized the Player Werewolf's reverse castle alt. was never used. :o

Thanks, your Serena palette is pretty great too.
Anyway, continuing from earlier, here's my more experimental stuff:
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (John Morris)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Jonathan Morris)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Eric Ricard)
[ Guests cannot view attachments ] (Sichte Meister/Rosenkreuzstilette)
I should probably also mention that the PC-98 Reimu one is also experimental, seeing as it's also a somewhat extreme recolor.

Love that Kliff! Now I want to try my hand at a palette or two, soon as I get a good idea...

EDIT: OK, I don't think I'm very good at making palettes. But here's my first attempt.

Unless you were referring to his overworld model, he needs to be closer to...a black-ish dark purple color. His silver parts also need to be closer to dark gray, being iron and all.

Anyway, currently I'm doing an Albus palette based on Genjyo Sanzo of Gensomaden Saiyuki (JPN VA joke, as per usual. Plus he's got a revolver.) and I'm kind of on a fence right now, should I recolor the vest based on his breastplate-thing or his robes like I did with his pants? And I still have no idea what to do with his holster belt either.
I'm using this for reference, by the way:

Yeah, I thought so. That's why I said I wasn't very good at it - it's hard for me to do darker colors. Even his in-game model isn't that pale of a purple. I'll give it another shot later.

Personally, I'd say it's better to start from the darkest shade then work your way up for darker colors, and vice versa for lighter colors.
And don't worry, working on Montano can be a pain in general. Too many shades just for the coat itself, lol.

Thanks for the tips. I tried making it darker and lowering the saturation a little to make it more black. It looks a little gray, but it looks more purple if you change the background color to something else. I left it purple because I'm not sure if I'm allowed to change that part.

[ Guests cannot view attachments ] Update

As for Sanzo, I'd say color his vest based on the "breastplate". Maybe for his belt, you could do the olive-ish color on the scrolls. I was actually just thinking of putting together a VA-based palette for Albus...
